With an informal atmosphere, the Argosy is suitable for a quick bite or a more substantial meal. We have an extensive and tempting selection of dishes to choose from, such as: Pasta, Steak, Seafood & we also offer some sensational daily specials. Now offering Goody's playhouse, this venue is just perfect for dining out with the kids. With a safe environment, mum & dad are able to finally relax whilst dining out. Our full menu is also available for lunch from noon till 2.30 & dinner from 5pm in the lounge bar, catering for an early dinner before boarding the Spirit.

With the inclusion of our new deck area the Argosy can now cater for up to 200 people.

Functions at The Argosy

Trawlers holds up to 100 comfortably and is the perfect spot for Conferences, Meetings, small trade shows and Wedding Receptions.

Capacity is Theatre Style 100, U-Shape 30 and Classroom 40.
Equipment available includes Whiteboard, Screen, Lecturn, Digital projector (depending on availability).
Room hire rates include: Continuous Tea & Coffee, Linen Requirements, Serviettes, Cleaning of the Room, Room set to your specification, Table and Chair Requirements, Service Staff

Catering can be provided to suit with prepared finger food, 2 or 3 course buffet or set menus available on request. The room is available after 9:30am each day.

The Riverview Room off the main bistro is the perfect spot for celebratory dinners or functions. We can arrange set menus or you can order from the main menu. This area can be fully closed from the bistro for privacy and boasts lovely views of the Mersey.
